Our Application Summary Form feature is a second form you can create within your application form that will work as an executive summary that you and your administration team fill out about the application submitted.
Our summary form function can be used for a number of different things. It can help your reviewing process, screening process, used as an executive summary, as a script for a second application stage such as a phone interview.
How do I enable the Summary form?
By default the Application Summary option is disabled. To enable it for your desired form, simply follow the below steps:

Click "Edit Form"

Select the Settings tab from the left-hand box

Find the "Enable Application Summary Form" setting

Toggle to "On"
Now that you have your Summary Form enable, you can give it an alias name which you deem suitable by clicking on the underlined title.
By default, the Summary Form will have numbers alongside your questions. If you wish to use the form for a report function, you can remove the numbers by toggling off the "Display Summary Question Numbers".
How do I create my Summary Form?
Creating an Application Summary form is an identical process to creating your application form (to see how to do that, check out our article here). However, rather than building it in the Questions tab, we have a new tab appearing at the end of our box titled "Summary Questions" - We will build our summary form here.
We have two additional question types you can use on your Summary form:

Existing Answer: Import a question with the applicant’s given answer from their application form into the summary form.

Registration Details: Import the applicant’s first name, last name or email they’ve provided at registration in the form.
How do I fill in my Summary Form?
Filling out the summary questions is easy. First, let's go to the candidate’s application whose summary form you want to fill out. Once we've expanded the view, the shortcuts to the Application Summary Form can be seen above the media modal.
We can fill it out the required answers in the summary form by clicking on the pencil icon.
Once you click the pencil, you will be redirected to a new screen with the summary form ready to be filled out - this view is similar to what your applicants see when they fill out the application form. Our questions will appear on the right-hand side and along the bottom, we have 3 settings:

Save icon - Save the progress so far.

Magnifying Glass icon - Preview the summary form in its entirety.

Tick icon - Save and quit the summary form.
How can I view the Application Summary Form now that it is complete?
To view the candidate's summary form, we simply click "Application Summary" above the media modal. Please note: The name of the Summary Form will vary depending on the title you have given it in the "Application Alias" section in the settings.
You can download each application summary form as a PDF. To do this, simply open the form and scroll to the bottom of the screen where you will see a blue ‘Download’ button.
