Payment questions are one of our newest features. Should you need to collect payment from your applicants for tickets, to take part in an event etc., you can collect payment in the app.
Depending on your needs you can either collect One Time Payments, or recurring payments via subscriptions.
Before creating your first payment question you must:
-
Have a Stripe account on the stripe.com website.
-
Connect your Stripe account to the Submit.com app.
Connecting Your Account to Submit.com
In order to process charges on your behalf, Submit.com needs access to your Stripe account. This access is granted by "Connecting" your Stripe account to the Submit.com app.
First, click on the payments option on the side bar:
In the Accounts section Payments, you will see a "Connect With Stripe" button. Clicking this button will direct you to stripe.com, allowing you to either sign in to or create a Stripe account.
Once you have signed in or created your account you will then be prompted to connect your account, once connected you will be directed back to the Submit.com app.
Creating A Stripe Account on stripe.com
If you do not have a Stripe account, you can easily create an account on Stripe.com. Accounts can be created within minutes but please note you will need to verify your identity in order to receive payouts to your bank account. If you attempt to connect your account without creating one first, you will be able to create your account on the fly and give access at the same time.
Creating a Payment Question
Once your Stripe account has been connected you can now begin creating payment questions within your forms. Payment questions are created like any other form question.
Initially after creating a payment question, it will not be valid. Click the edit cog on the newly created question to add the rest of the details required for a payment question.
One Time Payments
-
A Stripe account into which you will receive the funds.
