How to whitelist emails from Submit
Below are the instructions for the two most popular email clients, Gmail and Microsoft Outlook. If you use a different email client, you will need to refer to their instructions on whitelisting to ensure that you receive all emails from submit.
How to Whitelist in Gmail
- Log in: to your Gmail account on a desktop or laptop computer.
- Click the gear icon: (Settings) in the upper-right corner of your inbox.
- Select "See all settings": from the dropdown menu.
- Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab: at the top of the settings page.
- Click "Create a new filter" .
- Enter the email address “noreply@submit.com”: in the "From" field.
- Click the "Create filter" button .
- Check the box: for "Never send to spam".
- Click "Create filter" again: to save your new filter and complete the process.
By following these steps, you will ensure that emails from Submit bypass your spam filter and arrive directly in your inbox.
How to whitelist in Microsoft Outlook
- Open Outlook:Access either the desktop application or the web version of Outlook (outlook.com or office.com).
- Navigate to Junk Email settings:
- Desktop App: Go to the Home tab, click on Junk, then select Junk Email Options.
- Web Version: Click the gear icon (Settings), then "View all Outlook settings", and choose "Mail" followed by "Junk email".
- Locate the Safe Senders list:
- In the Junk Email Options, find the "Safe Senders" or "Safe senders and domains" tab.
- Add the email address or domain: “noreply@submit.com”
- Click "Add" or "+ Add safe sender". Enter the email address or domain you want to whitelist (e.g., "example@example.com" or "example.com").
- Click "OK" or "Save"
