Scenario 1- Supported File types not enabled
If you're having issues uploading a document to your submit.com application, then the first thing you should check is to make sure that you are uploading the supported file type. Any supported file type would be listed on the question itself.
If no file types have been selected by the form creator, then you will not see any supported file types listed on the upload question. In this scenario, you would need to reach out to the organisation that you are applying to, to let them know that the supported file types are not available for your upload question. From there, your organisation admin should be able to resolve the issue and let you know.
Once that has been resolved, you will be able to return to your form, upload your question and continue with your application.
Scenario 2- File Size/amount exceeded
Another reason why you are unable to upload a file would be the file size exceeds the maximum amount for upload Or you have exceeded the allowed amount of files that you can upload. By default, the maximum allowed upload size of files on submit.com are 300 megabytes. To determine what is the minimum upload and maximum upload amount set by the form creator, you can also check those details underneath the upload question description.
Scenario 3 - Caching Error
A caching error is when your browser cache may become misaligned with the platform settings for submit.com. If this happens, you may encounter a warning or a spinning circle when attempting to upload a file.
In this event, you would need to save and close your application, clear your cache and cookies, refresh your page, and then re-access the application again.
